Huge Control Room Display

NEC Display Solutions Europe has signed an agreement with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to install a 256 square metre dvLED display with a pixel pitch of 1.5mm, one of the world’s largest LED control room displays, in its main network operations centre. The agreement also includes the installation of 200 video wall displays and smaller LED screens in their SOC at the Unified Network Operation Centre (UNOC) on the STC campus in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

NEC’s full involvement in the project includes design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the giant video wall. In cooperation with Saudi Media Systems, NEC will be responsible for the supply and installation of around 216 video wall units, several conference room displays and other smaller LED solutions. It will also supply the complete back-end processors for the successful operation of the UNOC.
